Easy Crockpot dinner

1 bag of frozen tortellini
1 bag of fresh spinach
2 cans of italian diced tomatoes
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp italian spices
3 tbsp parsley
salt and pepper
3 cups chicken broth
1 block of cream cheese

Put everything in your crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours and serve .You can add anything you like ie: zucchini , corn ,onions , mushrooms etc and change the herbs to suit yourself. Just remember to increase the chicken stock a bit if you add a lot of other ingredients .

Yeah, colder weather will bring the pot into use more often. (I don't like many hot meals in summer). Is that served with a salad?
This sounds delicious and easy. I'm not a huge fan of crockpot meals because I think they all kind of taste alike. But this will be different. Do you use cheese tortellini?
I am always glad to hear new crock pot recipes. Everyone thinks of the crock pot as winter meals but I love using the crock pot in the hot weather. You don't have to turn on the oven or the stove and everything is ready in one pot. I use the crock pot in the summer all the time - keeps the house cool and the bellys full!
You can use any tortellini you like and yes you can serve it with a salad or coleslaw or whatever you have.
