But, he did say she has lots of arthritis in her front leg. Which is probably why she limps on and off after prolonged running. Any good suggestions for a good supplement? Ever hear of elk velvet? |

Elk Velvet? Were you watching Longmire on TV last night?? Whole story about it and the out of season hunting of elk for the velvet and side effects of the velvet as an herbal. We use Missing Link for the chondroitin and salmon oil for the omegas. |
Good news on the cyst Brie has just turned 11 and this winter was showing signs of stiffness, taking longer to get up and lay down. Been with my previous oldies the natural way of chondroitin/glucosamine sups, which helps. The main thing with a natural supplement for them is to not expect it to show a miracle over night. Most sups can take several weeks to show any improvement. I am on a new sup, Brie is part of the trial for it. Finding it wonderfull, we have just progressed to the maitenance dose and it has been amazing for her. I hope to continue this as she gets older and older as it is really helping her. This is what she is on and part of the trial group. http://rosehipvitalcanine.com.au/our-st ... al-canine/ |
No, I wasn't watching anything on TV. I was under the impression the elk antlers were either removed without any pain or just shed... I heard of ther missing link...will look into that...and will check the other link too. Thanks. |
