Week on Lake Texoma
This is the view out the windshield of our  This is the inside and outside temperature at 9:45 Thursday morning:  At 400 in the afternoon it was 107 outside and, even with 3 air conditioners it was 85 inside! We spent the week inside, all of us caught up on naps! We really enjoyed being in the RV but this will be our last trip to a hot location! |

| Oh my!!! That is impossible weather(IMO) for vacationing. In the first pic, I thought "that must be some A/C!!" Still, the units did great. Too bad, but napping is a vital part of life  Bet it would be a beautiful fall trip. |
| No, not enough insulation in even the best RV to survive heat like that. Heck, most homes are built for that heat. |
| It looks nice, but not for being parked in a metal box in the sun. The napping is good though! |
| Oh WOW. be glad you weren't tent camping! I am a weather channel addict so I know the temps down there have been brutal. Hope everyone, human and dog, survived the heat and you had a great trip. Bet 85 felt cool coming in from the 102! Safe travels... |
| Hot, hot, hot!! I agree, not more camping where it's too hot. The lake was very pretty though. |
