Pretty bird! This summer we've had an owl hang around, don't know what type........I never get a good look at him and camera doesn't have a good enough zoom. Unusual to have owls. We get ravens in winter, they migrate away from river for the winter. I'd like to blame our bird feeding for bringing them in, yeah probably partially to blame. They are also going after horse fee, anything thing they can find over winter. They make life for our regular birds difficult. Many years we have had big blacks interact with the dogs, mostly taunting them to come chase them. |
I'm jealous that you have an owl. I wish we had one at the barn, to take care of mice and other birds. |
I'm really curious about the "ewe" tree. The yews I'm familiar with have linear foliage and are evergreen. Do you have any more info on your tree? |
Very cool! |

Sorry I think it is an elm tree not a ewe tree. Getting the names mixed up, I don't think we have ewe's here but I remember having them in England. |
Thank you for sharing the video of the Owl and the black bird. It is really cool. |
Love that! When I was a child we had owls but haven't seen one since. |
