Lost missing puddytatt
He had followed my wife taking Archie out for a walk around 10:30 at night, and he went further with them than normal talking in his funny little way, vanishing where there were a lot of cats who sort their differences out!. I asked my wife if she wanted me to look for him, she said no but I new she wouldn't settle if I didn't!  So off me and Archie trot at about 1am (much cooler by the way then) with torch in hand and traced the path of where my wife had walked Archie feeling like a right  calling "marmalade where are you puss?" quietly to no avail upto the point where my wife had last seen him.I quietly walked on the route she had taken with just Archies dog tag jingling to break the silence, then after a short while what did I see in the dark (street lights go out about halfpast midnight) approaching but a pair of cats eyes, yes it was Archies dog tag that had caught his attention!  Archie greeted him with a cursory sniff and lick, and then proceeded to shepherd him back home stopping waiting when required when Marmalade was falling behind and giving the odd nudge along with his nose  if any one had seen us it would have made an unlikely scene this big fluffball walking alongside a small ginger Tom with owner in tow! Let's hope tonight isn't a repeat! |
