At Sheepie Shindig, we had two grooming seminars. Sheepiezone(thank you again, Karen) recorded and uploaded these vids to Youtube. Hope it is helpful. You could also search Sheepie Shindig 2012 on YouTube for several other ones. Both sessions were very concise and filled with priceless information. Amber even found a heart design on a bum during one of the sessions It is posted too. http://youtu.be/naselrdZKso http://youtu.be/FcVzY-QW_WQ http://youtu.be/uvgpHuap3QU |
The videos are filled with great info and how too! Enjoy! I have the Gieb Gator thinning shears and I love them! |
The videos are great! And the dog modelling is so well trained to be groome. Mine usually try to wiggle around and bite at the scissors |
I bought my thinning shears from a vendor at a dog show. Great way to know a product will work - as I brought Chewie with, and did test snips on him before I bought it! I do that with brushes, etc too - try them, then buy the ones I like. (If it's a new item that we haven't used) |
I have geib crocs and love them. Roseline are ok, good work horses. My favorite is Colin taylors precious range. when using thinners/blenders you can get a different effect depending which way round you use them. and if your shaping and want thinners to get a more natural look than scissors try chunkers they are like thinners crossed with scissors leave a good natural finish |
