The vet took her off antibiotics today (YAY!) and she will go back next week for removal of some growths. I think the growths are on her toes, but the shelter isn't exactly certain when I spoke with them today. Once this heals, the vet will decide when they can release her to an adopter. The shelter wants to adoption her out and will not allow breed rescue to get involved. This is a bummer I have been into see this sweet girl twice in the past 2 weeks and of course it broke my heart. One time alone (not a good decisions on my part) and the other with hubby I felt better. I am hoping we can get in there with Foz this coming weekend to see how she is with him. She does seems to be taken care of, but it would be much better if she were out of there. Both times I went in there, all the other dogs seemed to be barking and carrying on and this sweetie was lying there with head between paws and shaking. I will try to double check if she can hear which isn't something I thought about before. Her life wasn't good before, but it was all she knew. Please find some information on "Biggie". She is NOT a mix...definintely OES. Thanks! http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/2655 ... map=%5B%5D |

She looks like a sweetie. Are you thinking of adopting her? She'd be a peach with a nice bath and some good grooming. I hope she finds a good home soon. |
I would rather someone else adopt her... |
Stacy, did you take Foz to meet Biggie? |
We ran out of time yesterday but will try to get there soon! |
Looks like she got adopted today! She will probably stay at the shelter till her surgery, but a guy went there today to meet her specifically and ended up adopting her. |
Yes I found out she was adopted! I hope it is a great home! |
