| Deborah, I remember talking about this at our St. Paddy's Day Hackney's lunch. I checked my calendar and I have it down for September 22. You said that's good because it's not the Jewish high holidays. Now we have to figure out a venue. Didn't Amanda and Melissa volunteer to talk to Heather about using the place from last year?  And I promise I will be there, and that it will not rain!  I have great items if we do an auction. |

| Hi All, We will be there with bells on... but unfortunately I can't do much with planning help this year. I liked having it at the Best Friends place, but it was a pretty low turnout last year. Any ideas to beef it up? I thought maybe trying the herding instinct test place but that is pretty far north. Maybe having it in Chicago? |

I think was we get these plans together, we should start a SheepieFest! facebook page and maybe stir some interest that way. |
| I agree with Deborah, I think the low turnout last year was due to weather (and I was out of town). Where is the herding place? Having it there could generate a larger group. By this point SheepieFest! pretty much runs itself as long as we have a venue. And I have a few cool things if we do an auction. |
| I have it on my calendar from our lunch...on Sun, Sept 22! Of course I like the idea of having it at Best Friends because I live right here and the last 2 years I've been out of town!! I cannot wait!! We will be there!! Please let me know what I can do. Need me to call over there? |
| I haven't been able to attend the last few years because of Josh's illness, BUT *knock on wood* his current treatments seem to be effective. Where it is hard for me to make any long term plans, I'd really like to come this year and bring my duo. Keep me posted on any updates! |

| Let's do herding another time. We went years ago and Foz just played with the sheep. It is a lot of standing around as dogs aren't allowed off leash unless it is their time slot. I have been swamped but will call best friends next week. |
| Alright! We are on at Best Friends in Prairie View, IL on Sunday, September 22. Right now we are scheduled from 9:00-4:00. If it rains they now have a much bigger room for larger dogs! Even better..no fees!!! Cannot wait!! |
