I assume a thyroid test was done. This can make a dog go nuts. Also pain can drive them crazy. Eyes and ears are OK, they will bite out of fear. Then we get into more serious problems like brain disorders. No way this dog should be around children!!! Need to consult an animal behaviorist to see if there is an environmental/social problem that is driving a once calm dog to bite. |
Im sorry this is happening. I hope you dont think all sheepies are like this. For a dog that is 12 the first thing that comes to mind is artheritis but you said that there is nothing wrong medically. Biting is a serious issue and i totally agree this dog should not be around children. Ruling out anything medical would be my first suggestion, then an animal behaviorist. Til then dont let your kids over there and talk to your borthers and/ or sisters about the serious situation. Stay strong, it sounds like she make not think its as a serious situation as it is. |
