Right now, she has a summer cut, so her hair is pretty short. Can you use it on short hair or just on long hair? Or not recommended at all? My dog groomer says "NO!" to furminator on OES...but she is pretty crazy, so I don't know what to believe. |

no, the coat just won't let one move through. Get a good pin brush, no balls on the ends. Furminator pulls, yanks, out the undercoat. Other breeds the undercoat sheds making a Furminator ideal. This time believe your groomer. |
I have a different typ of comb/brush which works wonders. If you do not want to show your sheepy. It is like a mini rake with prongs that roll round so don't pull at all. It does take out some of the under coat but that is what my aim is so I can have Sprocket longer haired in summer and not get to hot,His brother Dougal has his hair constantly chomped off by my daughter (Doughal's "mum") We don't seem to get much "summer" here in Kent!!!x |
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Is that clear enough? |
No, people told me not to use it. I must admit I did try the tester one in the pet shop once just on his one foot because i didnt believe who told me either, but it wouldn't go through and ripped the coat. So no don't use one. Sometimes the shop display tester things are great to try yourself its how I found out |
