| I don't know what you were feeding for protein levels, or what your vet recommends you lower it to. This does seem like a pretty significant protein level still. But I don't claim any great expertise in canine renal health. The food ingredients look nice though. I like that they do recommend alternating protein sources - it's one thing I have had wonderful success with. Preventatively, it pays off well.  I also prefer a smaller family company over one of the larger ones. They seem to have a better track record. Likely as they still have product and ingredient control. They also have a more vested interest in a quality product vs. cutting corners to increase profits. |
