This is Jonah a young OES/Pyr that came to us in January only hours from death. He is approximately 1.5 years old, who spent one +year tied to a chain that was too small and short with little or no food. The last 6 months he has spent with our rescue trying not to die and then growing into this beautiful boy. He had no human interaction other than abuse until he came to us. Not only did he have to overcome starvation and a laundry list of injuries, he also had to learn how to trust and interact with humans and other animals. If you know someone in the DFW area that understands how to give a dog the room they need to settle in, be a leader, and continue with the extensive training he already has under his belt, Jonah will be a great partner. No children under 16. He's good with dogs, don't know about cats.
He's lovely. I hope he finds a home soon. Oh Susan.......
