I can't wait until she comes home, she should be ready by the end of July. In anticipation I've started getting things ready for the big arrival, started the puppy shopping today, you know the essentials, toys and all... I even took my wee O'Bama (my Pug) to get neutered last month, I dont even want to imagine what their pups would look like... He was all sad and depressed for a couple of days but he's good now, back to his crazy self. On a side note, is there anything you wish you had bought before your OES came home? I just want to be supper prepared for when she comes home. Cheers everyone... |

Yeah I know what you mean there Annastacia I was so tempted to pick 2 of the pups when I went to check them out... |
Congratulations! The end of July will be here before you know it. The only thing I really wish I had before Ginny came home would be doubles of some of the toys I had bought. I have a 5yr old French Bulldog and she loves the puppy nylabones and would steal the ones I bought for Ginny so I ended up buying doubles of several of them. Have you started thinking of any names for her yet? Denby |
Hey Denby, yeah it will fly in, fingers crossed Doubling up in the toys sounds like a good idea, I'd say O'Bama my pug wouldn't let her have them for too long otherwise... I think I'm going to call her Mia. I didn't get to name the pug as it was my sisters and she named him O'Bama she is a huge fan of Barack O'Bama and had the name picked months before she even got the dog... He only came to me last year because she's studying in France. She is due home later this year but little does she know that O'Bama is staying with me and she's not getting him back... Monty. |
I love the name Mia I didn't get to name my Frenchie either, she was 9 months when she came to me and was already named Stella. Your sister is in for a surprise O'Bama will be having so much fun with his new puppy he wont want to leave. I have had Ginny for 3 weeks now and I think having another dog around has really helped. Ginny worships Stella and follows her everywhere. Stella has been great at teaching Ginny the ropes, and I think it's nice if after they leave their littermates they go to a home with another dog to play with. Denby |

Denby Hmm, your post reminds me that you have an adorable new puppy. More pictures please!! I especially enjoy pictures of the bigger dogs getting to know their new bratty little brothers or sisters! So Denby, more pictures, Monty, take note, I will be harassing you for pictures too!! |
Congrats on the new pup. I wouldn't want to give Obama back either, he is so cute. I love the look on his face. The extra things you'll need you can't buy like more sleep. lol |
Good luck, and have loads of fun!!! |
Congrats! Enjoy! Can't wait to see pics! |
