Technically it was not the first time through Level 1 Obedience. We had been on a waiting list at the Nashville Dog Training Club for awhile and when we were finally notified that there was space, we were in Seattle and could not attend. So I had been using a private trainer and Murphy had done well with her, however it was not a class with other dogs. When the opportunity came around again, I chose to start at the beginning and take Level 1, rather than start in Level 2, because I wanted a chance to work with this particular instructor. I am glad we did--it was a great experience and Murphy has won the hearts of many at the facility that have never worked with OES. He had quite an audience tonight as he was introduced to beginning agility after our class. The instructor for that class worked with us for a little bit and said she was looking forward to having him in her class. Her compliment was that he was a very confident dog and she looked forward to working with us! We are going to go through Level 2 at the same time--just because...I think 'I' need it. It has been a busy summer already--and I am behind on keeping up with all on the forum--hope to catch up and hope things slow down a bit, but still have a busy few weeks ahead! |

Yeah!!! Sounds like you two will be having a lot of fun together! |
Way to go Murphy! |
Congratulations! And I think that it is good to go through a few basic classes, I find that it helps us two-legged even more than it helps our sheepies. |
Yea Murphy!!! |
Congrats!!!!! Cindy |
Wonderful!! It is always a good class experience if you have the right instructor. Wise choice getting in on the beginning levels, even though you could have jumped up....that way you get the whole picture, from the ground up! |
