Violet's most recent "twist"
 As many of you know, Violet is in the winter of her life. She is 10.7 yrs old and recently her vision and her HD have hindered her. We tried putting her in these shoes and they have put a new lease on her life. She is like a puppy with all the sheepie clown spirit back when she has her shoes on. In the pic she is napping in my office. Yes, there is sheepie clown spirit there it is just taking a rest.    |

| What a sweetheart. What do the shoes do to help her? |
| The shoes have rubber soles, so they give her stability on the tile, keeps her balance. My house is all tiled floors except the bedrooms and my office. I also believe the shoes on the back paws line her hips up just right to help with the hd. She will run in the shoes and do the "tigger" jump (all 4 paws off the floor at the same time.). When she is without the shoes she uses the walls to help her walk and "see". When she has her shoes on she walks down the center off the hallways and rooms, confident, just like she did before she started to have problems. With her shoes on she is like a puppy again. |

One thing that is important that i forgot to add about the shoes is that she wears socks with them. We didn't realize it at first that she should wear socks and she started to get a sore. So she had to go without the shoes a few days. She's back to wearing her shoes with her socks. We do take her shoes off at night, so to "air out" her feet. Also the shoes have rubber soles. I don't know if all dog shoes do or not. |

| They're just dog shoes. Chuck found them at PetSmart. He said they didn't offer much to pick from, but we're real happy with them. Remember they have rubber soles. I don't know if all dogs shoes do or not. |
What a funny pic, sheepies and their attraction to curtains  Most interesting about the shoes, thanks for sharing the info. Anything that makes the seniors feel better is priceless. Give Violet a hug from us too. |

She is a funny, funny girl. Each morning, when I get up, I have to straighten out the drapes. Chuck has a pic of her on his phone where she is sitting up with the curtain on her head like a "hoody"...she's so goofy. |
| Go Violet!!! I love that she's still doing her curtaining...my guys have one that they get to too...but not much camera luck. And especially nice to know her boots are giving her the confidence back to really enjoy life!!  |
