| Our Luke is almost 11 weeks old and recently stepped off into our pool...on the deep end. He panicked a bit and had to be rescued. Scarred the begeezers out of my girls! Not really sure what to do with him. He is smart but stubborn! |
| Oh My! Be careful with him falling in. he's little. A friend of mine lost a dog when he fell in the pool unsupervised. Maybe you can get him a life jacket? Or, don't they have those special things you put in the pool so the dog can get out if the fall in? I forget what they are called. Maybe someone with a pool knows what I am talking about... |

| We made sure our boys were "drown-proofed"; made sure they know how to get out of the pool in several places. We are still very watchful when they are in the backyard alone. A friend of ours lost her GC male a couple years ago when she let him out alone for about 15 minutes. He didn't come when she called him and found him at the bottom of the pool. He was a swimmer but couldn't overcome his full, show coat when it soaked. |
