http://www.nytimes.com/2013/05/16/scien ... 12+4f/+tWA The neatest thing about this, which I have seen elsewhere, is the theory that humans didn't domesticate dogs/wolves, but that wolves domesticated themselves, or at least, started the process. 32,000 years ago! This is far older than any other animal domestication, and part of why dogs truly are unique among animals now--there is no other animal who are as closely attuned to humans as dogs. dogs |

I read somewhere that wolves came to man not man to wolves. They started scavaging around camps etc and homes and got domesticated that way. Interesting article |
