My name is Melanie and I'm the Foster Care Coordinator for the Humane Society of Charles County in Waldorf,Md. We recently had an Old English Sheepdog,Aslan, turned over to our shelter because he was too strong for his previous owner. He was adopted out for a short time, but was returned due to him snapping while being trained. He never bit anyone, we just feel that he would be better off with a rescue that really understands his breed. Although we don't euthanize here, we do transfer to another shelter where euthanasia might occur. This is why I'm reaching out to you to see if you would be able to rescue him. Aslan is 16 months old and already neutered. He weighs #75.1 and has been vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, dewormed, Heartworm tested negative, microchipped and given a Frontline application. The previous owner stated that he is extremely well housebroken, as well as crate trained. We have a background check available upon request. If you could let me know, I would greatly appreciate it.
