Sorry, Darcy, I wish I could help, but I have no clue. I'd contact Kodak and ask them directly.
It's awful to lose good pictures! Good Luck! |
Darcy, what is the make and model of your camera? I'll do some snooping around for you and see if I can find anything.

Ill check when I get home , I have the case that the disk was supposed to BE in, just no disk...Thanks Sue...I ll see you on thursday....How does Pina colada's sound...or are you a beer/wine girl? |
Quick questions:
Is this a digital camera? If so: Are you trying to get the pictures off of the camera onto your own computer? Are you trying to get pictures that have already been placed on a disc for you to upload them? If not: Did you have the pictures developed onto a Kodak disc as well as prints? Are the pictures being stored on Kodak, and you're trying to get them from that website? I couldn't tell the answers to these questions from your posts... sorry! |
Ron, They are in my digital camera. The pictures that I posted before were off of a disk..Its a Kodak picture launcher with the usb port and software...I cant find the software and I couldnt down load it from kodaks web site..do you know of another way to get it off of my digital card and onto the computer? |
When you plug in your camera, the Windows system may simply recognize the camera like another disk drive, and you may be able to drag and drop the files from the camera to another Windows Explorer window.
So plug in the camera, you'll probably hear some beeps from the computer. click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Windows Explorer Take a lokk down the left hand side... I'd guess you'll see your camera listed. Look in the subfolders till you find the pictures. Then open up a new Windows Explorer (as above) find where you want to put the pictures, and then drag'em and drop'em. Be careful to not delete the pics off the camera. A simple drag and drop probably won't delete them... the cursor will have a tiny plus "+" sign next to the filename as you drag, meaning it's a copy, not a move. Good luck! (or ask a 15 year old.... ) |
Ha ha Ron...aint that the truth!! |
