Good quality canned food for senior dog?

Can anyone recommend a good quality canned food for my 10 year OES?

Thanks for your help!

A simple option is to take the food they are on and soak it.
My 15 year old basset Harley has been on soaked food for the last year (he has gum disease, and hard kibble makes his poor gums bleed.) :(

I feed twice a day. I have a food storage container for leftovers (Rubbermaid) that I fill with enough food for 24 hours - I fill it with water to the top of the food and put it in the fridge. Take 1/2 for breakfast, 1/2 for supper, and refill. Super easy, and no special foods or cans to mess with. :D
I fed my dogs "home made" food, a couple of hours on Sat afternoon/evening and I got enough food for the week. There are several recipes available online (but do not have my measurements here, sorry, but I do remember 8-10 cups of rice uncooked, and a cup or two of barley). I would throw brown rice and barley and water in a large crockpot, (add 4-6 raw eggs later, 3/4 of the way thru rice cooking, and stir the eggs into the rice broth), boil and grind meat (whatever meat was on sale6-8 cups), add some carrots, green beans (run thru a processor, or cut, or "peeler strips". . . if raw veggies), mix it all up (BIG bowl:) ) and leave uncovered until cool.
I spread it in a plastic "cake pan", cut it into squares, and half went into the freezer for "fresh" food later in the week.
I tried different canned foods, but high quality food is quite expensive ($2-$3 per can, for an OES, not a Chihuahua) and I found it cheaper to make the food. At a bulk food store you can get 25# of rice quite inexpensively. Chicken legs, or cheap hamburger, eggs, a couple packages of frozen veggies (green beans & carrots). On rare occasions I would use beef or chicken broth rather than water.

Not for everyone, but it has worked for me. I do keep a couple of cans of low ingredient canned food from the local tractor supply . . . "in case of emergency".
