Can dogs eat freezer burnt chicken?

So today I got into a spring cleaning frenzy and cleaned the whole kitchen including cupboard and freezer... Found a giant package of boneless skinless chicken breasts which are freezer burnt. It would be a shame to throw them out as its a huge waste- could I boil them up for the dogs?
I know out vet always recommends boiled chicken for an upset stomach, mixing some boiled chicken into their kibble should be fine right? It isn't super old, it was just not wrapped well before being put into the freezer.

My goodness, will you do my kitchen next?? :plead:
I dread the spring clean :(

I would use them, seems a shame to throw out. But, I know if Charm had chicken in her kibble, she would never eat plain again. But that's her.

Oh yes, they sure can.

We use up neglected/forgotten freezer meat for our dogs all the time. And leftovers/trimmings, etc as well. Tonight Todd and I had rotisserie chicken from the deli - and the dogs got the fat and trimmings on their supper tonight when Todd deboned it. Why waste good protein sources??
When our chickens' eggs froze and cracked this winter, they were dog food too. Sometimes they froze too much before eggs were collected, on those really cold days.
You don't have to cook it just give it to them.
I fed it to them, pretty sure they thought they won some contest they didn't know they entered. They LOVED it!

I started my springs cleaning too early... There is now a blizzard warning and the temp is freezing. This day last year it was +24 degrees Celsius on this day. It should be spring already! I have that problem where I start by doing something small and before I know it my whole kitchen is involved in a giant project... I guess it had to be done :)
I save the skin and bones from rotisserie chicken and freeze until I have a big sack full. Then make chicken stock...........then the dogs get the skin.

As for freezer burn, of course they can eat it, raw or cooked, your choice. I would not feed them meat that defrosted, say due to power outtage unless it still had ice crystals. Warm meat may be spoiled and should be tossed.
Good to know... it was still frozen solid and covered with ice. My husband bought it and threw it in the freezer in the tray pack and forgot about it.

This morning they got chicken again AND snow day so they get to hang out with me all day.
They are a little confused, they don't know what's going on!
I always say, if you wouldn't eat it yourself, throw it out...
