New time OES owner, long time lover of sheepdogs. I grew up with a border collie mix and a bearded collie, and now I have found myself adopting a 2 year old OES that was abandoned here in South Korea six months ago. Here's Daenerys Stormborn, or Dany for short. I'm hoping to learn everything I can from this fine community to give my wonderful dog the best life possible here. My girlfriend and I have had her for the past four weeks and it has been a pleasure. She's the sweetest dog I've ever met, so good natured, lovable and goofy, as well as very intelligent. We're working on socializing Daenerys with other dogs, taking her out every day for walks, and encouraging her to mind her manners around smaller creatures. Pretty much 95% of the dogs here in South Korea are toy dog sized, pampered and perhaps a bit neurotic, so they're not used to seeing 60 lb. sheep dog strutting down the street and wagging her nub. Cheers! |

What a cutie! She is lucky to have found people that appreciate her and her large size! It always makes me happy when abandoned dogs end up with people who love them and treat them well! Love the ponytails and the black liner around her eyes, my Sheepie has those markings too and I love them! Congratulations on the great new addition |

Wecome from Ireland of course Dany is an adorable name but then I would say that comming from Ireland! Love the hair! I soooooooo want to do that to my dog but he is a boy! So I am not allowed! My last dog once got given a terrible hair cut by a groomer who somehow got him confussed with a giant poodle and so my Murph got a pink bow put in his hair by Dear Husband DH and called Fiffi till the hair grew back!(He also refused to be seen out in public with him!) So sadly bobbles are a no go area now. But your darling looks so great in pink pigtails!!!!! Oes |
Welcome from Illinois, USA! Dany is adorable! Cindy |
