We used marker training with a word "yes" instead of a clicker and it worked like magic. Also we do lots and lots of socialization, he loves going out and exploring. Agree with Annastacia for sure... they are very smart and confident; they will learn what they can get away with VERY quickly if you let them. Only dog I have ever had that I make "sit" "stay" before everything (eating, going for a walk, getting in/out of the car or playing in the yard) just to make sure he knows he needs to listen. He was VERY easy to train but needs ongoing practice and lots of consistency. He prances around like he is supreme ruler of the house sometimes, he is so cute it is hard not to let him! Stay strong |
