Are all males "Giant Marshmellows"????????

Been years since one with a dingle and dangles invaded this house. :cow: Syd is a giant woozie boy and soft and squishy marshmellow IMO. :lmt: Storms, head to high ground, usually the bed, minus pawing off all the pillows and doona, BUT we can still exit that area when FOOD is on the menu and WAY past din din time.

Yes I am a confessed owner, breeder of a male marshmellow, SNAG ( Sensitive, New Age, Guy) biggest wooz of all time, oooh mumma, outside is wet, oooh, thunder happening, etc etc etc. Luv the big lug to pieces but GIRLS are way switched on and smarter then dum dum !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK battle of the sexes happening, girls rule, boys drool. :P

Poor boy is in a house full of females. I know how feels
Not a fair comparison at my place as Rastus is of the spotted variety - dalmatian. But he is a big sook about thunderstorms and fireworks and he is certainly no where near as smart as Miss Tiggy. She runs rings around him in the brains department and she's way more bolshie and bosses him around.
I don't know about all but Cloud is the softest daftest dog I've ever had. Full of fun and frolics but defo a giant marshmellow. :clappurple: :clappurple:
Only ever had male sheepies and all of them have been big soft dafties BUT would guard the kids with their lives (first 3 when ofspring were kids) and Sprocket won't let anyone near me who he doesn't know untill he has given him/her the "once over" sniff.c
Surely not scientific but all the males we've had, OES and others have been marshmellows with us. With one another, a few were ......brassy. The girls certainly ruled here.
I'll take my big marshmallow any day of the week.

I definitely prefer marshmallows. lol I mean seriously... lazy is a much better quality than ONE opinionated bossy female ;)

Of course I think females rule... but only if that one female is me ;)
I have one who either puts on a good act, or is dumb as a box of rocks, and HUGE marshmellow. The other one is smart as a whip and slightly marshmellowish.
ya just gotta love mrs. j's honesty :D

i will forever enjoy the memory of the scream, the sound of two racing marshmallows scurrying off the dining room hardwood, through the kitchen, flying off the short stairway into the family room and rounding through my office behind my chair to plop in the corner and give me a look of protect us dad. :phew:

:wag:
My two boys are big babies and ridiculously cuddly. Rufus is very smart but very very shy/needy and Leonard comes off as a clown but is clever when it comes to getting what he wants. He does prance through life like a marshmellow but I am pretty sure it's mostly an act.

I love the boys, they are definitely more happy go lucky than female dogs we have had in the house. It seems they are always playing or cuddling and don't have as big of a problem with canine visitors to the house.
My OES boys have been marshmallows in all the good ways - but no bad ones - not afraid of anything and the strong, silent and steady types. :) LOVE my boys!!!

I know all 4 of Chewie's sisters.... and Bond's 2 sisters....yeah, sticking with the boys! ;)
pfffffffffffffffffffft! You'd be hard-pressed to find a bigger sweeter cuddler than Virginia! :hearts: And Mady is actually not far behind anymore. But the girls are bossy, I'll give you that, Mady will put Kim to bed, and she will insist on snuggles. And put a boy into their midst like Winston, the poor thing becomes their whipping boy. :D

Girls are much more challenging. But well worth it.

So well put! I just took one Marshmellow with me on my run (I can't take Leonard running as he is too young so it's just Ru and I) and according to my husband the other Marshmellow apparently waited with his nose pressed against the window waiting for us for the entire 35 minutes. Now that I am home Leonard has attached himself to my hip- he has his head in my lap right now. Ru is laying on the other side of me eating an ice cube. Love the term "Marshmellow"

So do I and fits Syd to a tee!!!!   He earned that name quite awhile ago. Yes he is "Hen Pecked" by his mother and sister, brie ignores the sookie la la big guy she gave birth too, babette bosses him but cant be without her squishy "Marshmellow" Bro.

It's amazing babs is 12 Kg's lighter then her brother, smaller all over but she definately has the "BALLS" in the family.

I laugh at Syd most days, for a big boy he is definately lacking in the brain department compared to girl sheepies, but cuddlier and turned out to be SUCH a mummas boy, yep hubby wanted to keep him for him, babs was for me and now the complete opposite, syd runs to mum, babs completely ignores me when hubby gets home from work, with her I am wiped off the face of the planet when daddy is home

Brain department maybe males mature later ? :lmt: Well we can only hope with Syd :plead: , but I do know regardless of circumstances and being a sookie, food rules regardless  , he will brave getting off the bed when previously glued there for munchie time then return to his high ground and safe haven. I do laugh with him so much latest has been if we dont want to do what you want me to do, I'll just go splat on the floor!!! Go on MA try moving 47 Kg's of hairy floor rug :P

Oh and when scared of thunder, wet outside in fact any thing that goes bang the two girls couldn't give a hoot, but sookie la la the end of the world is coming  :cow: :?

Gotta Luv Big Squishy Marshmellows with a dingle and dangles

DH likes the bitches better too......ah, dogs... :phew:
My daughter in law calls our boys our "princesses."

Dexter will not go out out from under the patio cover if it is raining. He has to be coaxed onto wet grass.

Winston has no class or concern; he will go out in any type weather or grass condition, his coat usually reflects this attitude.

Both boys love to sit on the patio and watch thunderstorms and hailstorms, Dex as long as he isn't gettng wet.

They are both ferocious sounding defenders of the castle until the are confronted with a real threat.

They both love to root around like pigs in the flower beds, especially when there is the promise of finding a fresh treat left behind by a neighbor cat.

Marshmallows? Probably!
Rufus is scared of all loud noises, he even barks when I open or close the latch on the door at the bottom of the stairs  He hates it if I have to do any drilling or hammering, but is ok with the vacuum and loud music. He's never been cuddly, but is definitely a velcro dog following me all around the house. If I let him out to pee, he barks if I'm not watching him or if I close the door which can get pretty chilly- but he's learned to pee on command thank goodness! He rules the house in his own way, I guess he's a passive ruler. He drives me mad but I wouldn't change him for the world :hearts: :hearts:
Love my big Fozzie marshmallow!
I agree with Kristine that girls are well worth the effort. I have had live-in show Old English males and thought that each one was great. Yet my Old English have always been girls. Most tend to defy description, as they have been combinations of ready-to-rock yet omega and sweet yet stubborn.

Pippa is still too young to define. She is aging into following the energy--always up for a walk yet also content to nap on the cool tile floor when I am busy.
Bingley is also a giant marshmellow! Of course, he is also a snuggle-bunny and has a permanent "smile" on his face, but yes!
Why are owners of female OES trying to muscle in?

Male Sheepies rule...........................

End of - who wants another grumpy female around anyway?

;-)
