Lily got the all clear. She's also up to 65lbs! The vet said she is at a healthy weight. Gideon on the other hand needs his teeth brushed everyday. His back teeth are icky but not bad enough for a dental cleaning. I went out and bought some doggy toothpaste. He tolerated it but doesn't enjoy it. For the people that brush their dogs teeth. Is there a brand of doggy toothpaste your dog enjoys? Is there any tricks or advice? |

I buy the enzymatic stuff that comes in a little plastic pot. I'm at work, and the stuff is at home, so I can't tell you the brand, etc. I use the little finger-cot brushes. My dogs like it better than a regular canine toothbrush. It must not hurt them, as a brush can accidentally jab them. They hated it, and wiggled to get away when I used a brush. With the finger ones, you feels were you are and can brush where you need to. And they like it - they all want their turn! |
