Buddy Update
He seems to have come through his heartworm treatment just fine. We'll be picking him up in the morning and the vet techs said they'll miss him because he's such a sweetie. Other than the heartworm and the need for a few extra pounds, he's perfectly healthy. His collar indention wounds have almost healed completely and he's starting to have that happy look in his eye of a dog that comes from a loving home. 
He's been doing great over at James's mom. She said he's just a perfect well behaved dog and she has trusted him with full run of the house since day one. Even her 2 cats are getting used to him. She's really happy that we got him and I know he's happy too! As soon as he's all better from his heartworms, we'll have him over to play and take lot of pictures and post them. I thought Buddy would prefer that I wait for pics until he was feeling his best.  However, the next time I go see him, I'll try to remember my camera since I've forgotten every time!
