Oven 375F mix half cup grated cheese, 3 tablespoons veg oil, and 3 tablespoons apple sauce together. Add half cup of cubed cooked veg and one cup of flour, combine thoroughly. Add drop of milk to help form a ball. Cover and chill for one hour. Roll dough on to floured board to a thickness of quarter of an inch. Cut into shapes, place on greased baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Made these today, mine are a bit thick. I tried one myself and they are bland but the dogs like them. I have made 3 batches of dog biscuits these past few weeks. One Pumpkin puree and flax, one with beef drippings and the one yesterday had peanut butter and banana (this seems to be the favourite so far) I will post the recipe if you like. |
