Congratulations on your new puppy!
Talk with your breeder who can advise you about her approximate weight as an adult. My best advise before getting a puppy is relax and enjoy her. Take your obedience training commitment seriously. It takes your time and effort, but well worth it. Make play time fun, interesting toys, and age appropriate exercise. For dog nutrition choices, see the Nutrition section for a good discussion. Please check out this link-it has a growth chart and lots of pictures of a sheepdog named Domino. You can see how this sheepdog's growth progressed. www.wardle.biz Welcome to the forum! House training is a long process and it's never the dogs fault if she pees on your carpet. It is your fault for not watching her close enough.
Obedience classes are the best thing even if you think you know how to make her behave...it's still fun for both of you and great socialization. Socialization is the most important thing for her it truly makes for a better dog if they are exposed to as many people, places, things, and dogs of all sizes at an early age. To love her...even when it rains and she runs through the house dripping wet with mud all over her. |
