| Sorry about the late update... At the end of Day Two, Caitlyn had amassed four Best in Breed awards, one Group One award, two Group Three awards and four V1 Ratings! Three of these will be applied to her International Champion title!!! Our little girl has her first title! I'll be honest and say that I'm almost more impressed with her behavior over the weekend than anything. We had two VERY long days and she was an angel the whole time. I have several photos that I'll post tomorrow when I'm at a computer. Vance |

Here are a couple photos from this past weekend. The first is Caitlyn and I in the ring during class judging. You'll notice I'm not in a suit. This was on Sunday and Saturday I was wearing a suit. After looking around and seeing that there were only six or so men and only two of us were wearing suits and many of the women were wearing jean in the ring, I really didn't feel like wearing the suit again on Sunday. Besides, the judges really were judging the dogs, not the handlers. One of the men handlers who placed pretty high all weekend was wearing jeans and a camo sweatshirt!!! One younger woman looked like she was at a family reunion looking to pick up a date. It took everything I had to NOT snap a shot of her to post. Enough about the attire issue... The second photo is of Caitlyn and I actually sitting down with the judge and talking! This felt VERY odd, even after four shows in two days it was strange!  We did have a great time and although the ring times were off by A LOT due to some show staff cancelling at the last minute, Caitlyn was at the top of her game with regards to her behavior. One example of how things went awry was the second show on Day One, we were to be in get ring at 2PM and didn't get into the ring until nearly 4:45PM! It was a VERY long weekend. Vance |
