The roads are covered the paths are covered...I almost slipped as Bloo decided to roll his face into it. The house is soaked and now I have the fun job of drying the snow off his feet and head... Argh!! I wish it would stop before it gets any thicker all the colleges and schools are closing and my dads finished work early as it's so bad on thw motor ways... |

send it here!!! |
I agree with Dawn! If I'm going to have to deal with it being cold, there might as well be snow too! I like the snow, but not the cold. |
Dawn and Jade, she's getting a dusting compared to what you and I know as a blizzard. She needs to spend one winter with any of us in the Midwest and she'll never complain about the UK snow ever again. Trust me Sam, it could be WAY worse. Vance |
What she needs is some good ol' fashioned lake effect snow. THEN she'll KNOW what a lot of snow really is. |
Our snow is mostly ice because its so wet here, we get snow then rain that freezes, then snow again etc. We don't have too much down south but we are supposed to get more tomorrow. The worst thing is when it turns to ice & you can't walk or drive anywhere Our English cars are definitely not built for snowy conditions! |
I know. Its all turned slushy and icy now I can't walk bloo far as its slippy and wet. Ive shovelled a path down the garden to stop him slipping when he dashes out Hopefully itll all be gone soon yay |
I think you sent the snow to me, we're expecting five inches by the end of the day! Good old lake effect snow |
Quote: Our English cars are definitely not built for snowy conditions! that brings back memories! I used to have an MGB that was GREAT in the snow, low/nicely balanced......as long as the snow wasn't too deep. However, once the snow started to melt, the melt was thrown back and up onto the starter coil where it would freeze. Many a time my car has to be pushed or towed someplace warm to thaw out so it would start. |
