I go mad at my dad as he keeps fussing him up round his neck and face. Are you allowwd to thin the face in show dog? It feels so thick and icky Sam x |

It actually probably is matting up, and especially if he's been damp a fair while. It will feel thick also if it is regularly cut back as both layers of coat are the same length the outer coat needs to be grown longer if that is the case. Are you sure you can combine right down to the skin easily? I if not you may need to tease a matt breaker through it to open up the lower coat. |
Yes I can get comb through it but its so thick. I wash his face weekly then hairdry it after washing it. And every time he has drink I dry it with towel and comb it out. It feels so thick. Ill keep working on it |
I think its because its constantly dirty and stuck together. Ive just washed his face and conditioned it, now its completely knot free and almost white. In another hour itll be wt, black and icky again. Im going to start putting them white thing s they put in yorkies faces to keep it up haha I thik ive answered my own question here lol. Its because its wet and dirty so its all stick together. I need to condition more often maybe. SAM |
