It is very good and the people are very talented, but is it really necesary to grow the dogs coat to just clip it all off again and dye it? Cruel or fair? What are your thoughts. |

Those are all funny but I feel bad for the dogs. Poor things go through a lot in those 2+ hours. |
Bet that's all the rage in Denmark... Vance |
The people are very talented, but I am sure it is a lot for the dogs. |
I always feel sorry for the dogs too. I thought this post was about the blonde doodle in Roanoke groomed like a lion. He scared many people into calling 911 about a lion on the loose!!! Personally I'd be afraid someone would shoot him |

Personally I'd be afraid someone would shoot him In the USA I wouldn't be surprised if someone shoots the dog thinking it is a lion. Here is a picture and news article on the lion dog: http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/01/10/id-like-to-report-a-lion-sighting-virginia-dog-mistaken-for-a-lion-generates-911-calls/ When we are in the mountains we put a bright yellow bib on Buster as we are worried someone might mistake him for a bear and pepper spray him (have heard it happen to other Newfys) |
The winning dog hair style is very creative and I don't think it is cruel. Not much difference in time in comparison to grooming for a dog show. |
