I am worried about Pup Bailey

I walked our new pup Bailey out today with Gizmo the schnouzer. They have been getting on really well though sometimes Baily treats Giz as his personal chew toy. At time recently Giz has been a bit bothered by this and has "let him know enough is enough!" Today everything has gone more or less ok - the walk out was as expected total bedlem on the way out but settled on the way back! Lead training at 4 months is not on pups adgenda! You can imagine.

When I got home I was so tired out I went for a rest. The boys were fine. Then when I got up about an hour later I put the babe in the yard to pee - nothing unusual he peed fine.

Then I wanted to give him a bit of attention and got the brush to groom him and play. I put him on his back and started to groom his tummy. Then I noticed. - there was blood!

Little man has blood comming out of his you know thingy! It isn;t a massive amount but enough to colour the fur a bit. The end of his do da looks red and sore. I don;t know if Giz has bit him? Or if he is ill or what would cause it??????

I am worried about it. - We'e been recently giving babe a bit more adult food mixed into his puppy food? Could this be the cause? It's only chicken and rice complete working dog mix. He only has a little bit on his puppy food?

I am frightened incase he is sick? I know I shouldn't get worried - giz probably bit him for nipping his ears. Giz being a schnouzer cant reach much else and he used to bite Murphy on the willy too!

I lost Murph in July so am hyper sensitive about anything looking a bit suspect. Babe was at the Vet just before Christmas and the vet said he was a really great pup and very healthy.

 Poor Babe Baily.
He might have asked for some feedback from Gizmo.
However - could it be a urinary infection?

I don;t know - OMG I never had a pup before - he is drinking loads? I am feeling a wee bit sick? I mean it's his willy!!!!!!
Gosh I am such a baby - I worked on Ambulances and I still can;t deal will a bleed on a willy!

With humans its just drink loads more or less to flush it out. I am worried about him now.

I would take him to the vet. Could be a UTI, or it could be a foreign object that somehow got into the sheath. (As pups, they are pretty low to the ground and if he went through some tall grass, something might have worked it's way into his sheath.)

If he's peeing alot, most likely it is a UTI, and he'll need antibiotics. Your vet will be able to examine him and see what's up.

I would definately get him to the dogtor. Also, get a urine speciman to take with you, just in case. Good luck. Keeping good thoughts :hearts: Poor Baby :hearts:
The bleeding stopped and he has a scab on the tip of his willy I think it was Gizzymo he is getting a bit fed up of baby minding and his patience is wearing a bit thin!

So did you see a vet; and not the last one you went to I hope...

No I didn;t because when it settled down it was clearly a cut on the tip of his willy! I think GIz just got fed up of being a chew toy. It is scabed over and not bleeding anymore. So I think it is ok we put cream on it and fussed over him. Only thing is he weed a bit more than usual on the floor! Darn just got past that too! I worry about everything now with the baby. Anyhow he is running about like a mad thing today nothing faizing him at all. He is incredibly hungry all of the time.
