| Happy New Year too! Those of you who have fireworks and don't like them need to live in the frozen north, like me! No one ever does fireworks....in fact never heard of doing fireworks for New Years until I was older and more aware of the other practices around the world  |
| Happy New Year! The fireworks sounded as if there were war outdoors for several hours in Oslo. In old days we only had firework 15 - 20 minutes around midnight. Now People starts far too early, I think.  Didn't see any of it beacause of the fog - it was thick as a wall outside my windows, .......so thank you Little bear for showing us the video from Sidney - that looks great every year! Joy was curious about all the noise and came out to me three times, so maybe this was what it really looked like (if it hadn't been so foggy):  |

We usually have a party at our farm and do fireworks. One old rescue basset is afraid of them (and storms, guns) but now that he's almost stone deaf it's not a problem! |
