I was looking through pictures here on the forum this morning, and noticed I can now download pics from my IPad. Yay I don't post much anymore, because it was such a pain to get pics off of the iPad. Thank You very much Ron. Lisa Frankie and Mattie |

Ooooh really?! Yeay! |
Merry Christmas to you too, Ron |
I didn't do anything... must be something with an Apple upgrade? Can anyone confirm this? That would be nice. |
Posted form my iPhone!!!!! Upside down but it A VERY HAPPY Vance!!!! |
I posted one this morning that came out right side up, but all the others are loading upside down. Lisa Frankie and Mattie |
I have rotated the pics. I don't think the gallery allows members to rotate things for themselves, unfortunately. When you look at the pics on the forum with your iPad, were they still rotated incorrectly? I know that all of my shots from my iPhone that weren't held in exactly the right way showed up incorrectly rotated on Windows. |
Yep, mine showed upside-down after I uploaded it. I didn't care at that time, as I was only testing whether I could do it or not. I'll just have to learn what side is up with my iPhone and keep it that way. At least until a rotate option comes around. Vance |
Yes, that came with the latest Apple OS update. I was very excited, too! |
It seems when ever I receive a pic via e-mail from an iPad, it's always upside down. Some co-workers of mine were saying the same thing was happening with them. Must be something with apple. |
rdf wrote: Yes, that came with the latest Apple OS update. I was very excited, too! Lack of uploading was one of the reasons I gave up on iPhone. Too bad. I didn't upgrade iOS because I didn't want to lose Google maps. Now that Google maps is available as an app (Say, didn't Apple have a rule prohibiting apps that duplicated features of the iPhone?) I might upgrade iOS, but I'm worried that my 3GS won't be able to handle it. But, I wanna try out picture uploading. So I'll try it when I have a spare hour or so. |
Errr so... how do you do it? I can't work it out |
From your ipad/iphone, go to my photos and log in. When you're in the gallery go to the top and click on Upload file. When you're on that screen under File uploads: click on the Choose file button. The device gives you an option to take a photo or video or Choose Existing. Click Choose Existing and select your photo from your camera roll. Go down to the bottom and click Continue. On the next page you get to click continue again to place the file in an album. Click the album name to scroll to which album you want the picture in and click continue again. Then it's business as usual going to your album and copying the URL for the photo into a post. |
