So so sorry that Simon is not doing better. Special thoughts for you as you continue to try to help him. |
It must be so difficult to watch his struggle. I hope that they can solve the mystery soon and fix him up. |
Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way. |
I know your pain, but yours is so young. I hope something can be found to help him. MO is falling over, can't get up, etc. I put the harness on her yesterday. She's also having accidents in the house. |
Poor Mo.....it's hard to watch them get old. I treasure all her "muddy sprinkler" stories. My heart goes out to you. |
I know that this is not local to you but it might give you a starting point to therapies that are out there. This vet came and spoke at a dinner put on by our dressage club. It was very informative to hear about acupressure, acupuncture, 3 different types of ultrasound therapy for different lameness issues. You might give them a call or your local vet school for options. http://www.thera-vet.com/ |
Our vet has started the laser/ultrasound therapy, too. Wish it was available when we had Pooh Bear. |
I picked up that same harness after Panda had an FHO back in April. I hope you can find something to stop the progression of this. Just wanted to you to know that I'm thinking of you and that I'm so very sorry to read that Simon's still having problems. |
Sending you and Simon our thoughts and prayers... |
Hoping today was a better day for Simon! |
He seems a little better today. Still falling but he's being more cautious. I'm going to start the cold laser treatments after Christmas and he has another acupuncture treatment Jan 2. He managed to climb in bed with me this morning for the first time in awhile, lol, so we got some nice cuddle time in! |
I'm glad you got your snuggle...and that sounds like a bit of good news anyway |
Sounds like things are moving, albeit slowly, in the right direction. Good news. Linda Z |
