What a sweetheart, gone way to young. |
I so feel for you. We lost our beautiful boy Murphy on 4th July this year to cancer http://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/can ... LdSWGdoJuZ which is a fast growing cancer. He had a Tumor in the chest which ruptured without any warning and so his passing was very sudden in that by the time we knew what was wrong nothing could be done. Because it is an agressive cancer even with prompt treatment the prognosis is poor. It is not a survivable cancer. I have spent many many times in tears over these empty months without my boy. So I can so empathize with you and your loss. We got a new Pup called Bailey this week, he is 12 weeks old. It will take a great deal of time to train him up and also to learn to love him. Each OES is different and special in their own way. Each one seems to grab our hearts in a way no other breed of dog can. I think your lad was beautiful and so sorry you lost him so young. Cancer is a dreadful thing my Murph was only 7 yrs old so he was also young. OES |
I am so sorry about Ben. I can't help but shed tears with owners when I read an entry in this section. |
He was a sweet boy! |
So sad Cindy, these anniversaries are always really hard |
hugs to you !!!! he was quite the hottie!! xo |
Sorry! It really sucks when they go so young. I just lost my 8 year old, Pepsi, on Nov 19, unexpectedly to Kidney failure. I feel like my heart has a giant hole that can never be filled again. Nobody could replace my boy. My previous dog, a German Shepherd died of Cancer at 5 1/2 years old. Ben looks like he was a wonderful part of your family, I am very sorry that you had to suffer such a hard loss. As the anniversary of Harley's death comes each year, I am still heartbroken over it and he's been gone 6 years now. I can't even imagine how hard Pepsi's anniversary of his death will be next year. I know it does get easier with time, even though you can find another to bring you joy and love, it's different... Not a bad different, just different. Ben will always be with you in spirit. |
to you, Cindy. Anniversaries are always the hardest days. He was a beautiful boy. |
No matter how hard it is when they leave so soon, you do have wonderful memories, which does help some. There is always a sadness tho when we think about them. |
Hugs Cindy. |
