I have possible news! Merlin hopefully is getting a sister. I was called today by his breeder if I would be interested in another sheepie. After talking to the family we agreed. Now all the details need to be worked out...I hope everything works out this time. Last time the 'rescue' went to another family...that was disappointing but with all the renovations that we have undergone I think it was a blessing that we didnt get that other one. Now I have all the time to devote to a new member. I'll post more news as I get it...I am SO excited... can you tell |

Hi Kim!!
How exciting!!! I know who your breeder is, so I am doubly excited for you!! Is this Payton's babies again? Give Merlin a hug from Jack and Annabelle, and keep us up to date on Merlin's sister!!! Stormi and co. |
I'm excited for Merlin, Kim, and family also
This is not a Payton baby, but a Bolero baby! Sky's full sister, out of another litter. We don't want to jinx anything though, right Kim? So we'll leave the details and story for Kim to share when everything is official and Merlin's new sister arrives in her new home and settles in. *keeping my fingers crossed for you Kim!* |
Payton or Bolero, they both make beautiful babies....LOL
Is Merlin, Dancer's full litter mate, or am I wrong and he is actually out of Bo? I will keep my finger and toes crossed, and Jack and Annies paws are crossed that everything works out. If it is meant to be right now, it will happen. Good luck, Stormi |
Hi Kim, I can share your excitement just now. Nothing is harder to bear than the wait for a new furbie. We have two whole weeks to wait til we bring our new baby sheepie home. So I know what you are feeling just now.
Hope everything works out for you, the family, Merlin and of course your new little girl. Please post pics so we can all share in your happiness. Good luck. Clipper & Fernie |
Merlin is from Payton and Odie...he is Dancer's brother however from a previous litter. Merlin and Dancer seem to be similar in temperment, altho Merlin is more neurotic since he got lost when he was 11 months old. Don't get me wrong, we love Merlin to death... but he is not the 'typical' sheepie that people have come to love...he is rather shy and frightened of new people (well only adults...new kids would get licked to pieces!) and he is the perfect boy for us, so well behaved and such a playmate for my 4 upright kids.
I am hoping that the new pup will be similar in temperment as Sky...as she is Sky's sister from a different litter as well. And will help Merlin overcome some of his skittishness. No details yet about the new pup...I don't want to jinx it. The kids are SO excited....but they are afraid if they get too excited things will not turn out. They love the name the previous owners gave the pup so we will be keeping her name. Oh the wait is terrible LOL Thanks for all the support and the paw crossings! LOL! |
