I bought a OES puppy that was being rehomed. I checked out the breeder and actually she was not recommended to me by several people. One other breeder did say she was okay. I spoke with her on the phone and asked a lot of questions. Unfortunately for me I believed her and the untrue claims on her web site. So my advice to people who want to buy a puppy is to see the parents!!!! And don't believe everything you read. Ask for references and call them. Or you may end up with a puppy that does not truly resemble a sheepdog. When I contacted the breeder after I picked up the puppy to mention she did not have the conformation of an OES, the breeder was VERY rude and insulting. Needless to say the breeder who said she was ok was sent a copy of the disrespectful email I received. If you want her name, pm me. However, the puppy is an excellent puppy and we do love her. But for the money we paid, people shouldn't have to ask if she is a real sheepdog. This is my 3rd OES and they rule!!!!! |

The love of the breed often over rules common sense. Your puppy will be great, loving member of your family. |
Thank you! Both very true statements!!! |

If your pup wasn't a "true oes" what did he/grow into? xx |
