Violet would like to thank everyone for the warm Birthday wishes. She's doing pretty well for her age and only has a few issues getting up on the tile sometimes, needing her Mom's help. She's pretty much blind, but the family is conscience of that fact, so make sure there is nothing left in her way, and she listens to instructions pretty well. A little sidebar: The other day Chuck was working in the garage and the neighbor who lives directly across the street stopped by and chatted. He mentioned to Chuck "you know you leave your flood lights on at night that brings up your electric bill?" Well Chuck works at night so has no idea what I do here at night. Anyway, the lights don't shine into anyones windows because no one is close enough to us. So Chuck told him the truth, he said "our dog is going blind and needs lights on to find her way into the yard at night." He shut up after that. :) The guys nice but a bit of a busy body. :) Violet has been a very bright light in our lives and we hope she celebrates many more birthdays with us. She did enjoy Thanksgiving. :) Thank you again for the wonderful wishes.
