My mom keeps asking me what i want. I know what i want but i dont know which is best to get. I want a dryer for when i dry bloo because i only have my hairdryer and it takes forever. The nes ive seen look like a vacuum cleaner that blows not sucks. Thats the kind of thing im looking for but the ones ive seen are really expensive. Id also really want a new set of clippers. The clippers i have are wahl and have plastic blades. I think i need a better pair with the metal blades maybe but not too expensive. Karen what do you have again? Anyway, mom doesnt want to use ebay or amazon because we have had nothing but trouble from previous purchases from them sites. Ive been on pet centra but they re so expensive I need help |

I've been buying pet supplies from petedge, dunno if they ship to UK or not though, you'd have to check! I don't have a dryer or clippers for Eevee. I don't really plan on getting clippers, but a dryer would be nice later on when she's got even more fur. I can still dry her in not too much time with a regular hairdryer, and she really relaxes during drying time since she likes it so much, so I don't really mind that it takes a while. |
If you can hang on till march you can buy my spare blaster for £40 its an atom from Christine's direct think I paid about £90 for it. Am upgrading to a new nearly quiet one, apparently so quiet you can easily talk without shouting http://www.animology.co.uk/trade/acatalog/Dryers.html Christine's direct do good cheep dryers I just bought a new combination dryer from them and they said Because I was a new client I got 10% off and a new grooming jacket. Clippers, I'd recommend the andis, they are average price, quiet and don't vibrate too much You can use debatable blades and comb attachments And also crafts is only march where you can go and try them all! |
Karen, which dryer is that one? is it your stand up one? I need something thatll you know do the job easier than a heavy hairdryer. Thanks for clipper advice. My bdays in arpril i might get the clippers then as im not planning to cut him this year or next year. Bloo is going all long |
It's the small black one that sits onto of my tool drawers. There is nothing wrong with it you may want to buy a new hose, other than that it's fine, am just upgrading to a quieter one in march. It is powerful, you can use with a nozzle to blast the water off, then remove the nozzle to dry the coat. You can buy attachments to hold it so it turns into a sort of stand dryer http://www.groomers-online.com/product. ... ter-holder this is the dryer http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0054NZ9HM |
I'm with Karen on the Andis clippers. I have them and love them. They're SO quiet and now I have a second set of blades so I can swap them out to let them cool off if I need to. Although I haven't needed to since I got the new ceramic blades. And might I say Sam, you're crazy mad if you don't take her up on the offer for the dryer... A deal like that is worth waiting for. I got my stand dryer VERY used (it had multiple previous homes, it's really old)...the previous owner before me was getting a new one. All I had to do was have the power cord replaced...and it's been running for 6 yrs with me!! |
