My first meeting with Mady, plunked on my lap. A pitstop to recharge puppy batteries at my SIL's on the long drive home. Checking out the food supplies at her new home. She always loved her cosy hidey holes, she still does. How did she grow so fast? I can hardly imagine her being a little puppy. My beautiful puppy, I had such a steep learning curve learning to groom, I didn't really understand the beginnings of how to groom a sheepdog until she was over a year old. She learned to love her dog park very quickly. She also learned this supreme manipulative move very quickly. Do this, daddy will do anything for you. Playing with Winston, she showed what a wonderful big sister she could become. She plays hard, she also rests hard. She also loves her cousins. For such a smart girl, it took her a while to learn she was getting too big for her old hidey holes. But she was quick to learn how to pour on the charm. She knows she has the best butt going. She led us to places we never thought of visiting, like St. Louis. To many things I never imagined doing. To many new friends. She opened up a whole new wonderful fluffy hairy world for us. She is my heart, my baby, my greatest love. I hope she experiences even half the happiness that she gives to us every day! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET BOO-BOO BEAR!!!! |

Ah how wonderful. Nice tribute to a wonderful sweet dog. |
Mady was one of the first puppies that I followed on this forum. Her puppy sweetness and antics paved the way for us to look for our own puppy. My fondest story of the puppy Mady, is Kim's post about the crazed barking puppy who cornered a terrified Kim on the couch!!! David, your love and insight into how these babies change us forever, brought tears to my eyes!! Happy Birthday Sweet Girl!!!! |
Happy birfday Mady! It's amazing that she's only 3. I feel you have been part of our group furever. |

Love the pictures. The picture playing with Winston looks funny, they look like they are one being, he is plastered onto her. I love how she squeezes into places. Happy Birthday Mady |
