I am looking at this table: http://www.amazon.com/Commercial-Quality-Hydraulic-Grooming-Table/dp/B004GJC4DW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351266240&sr=8-1&keywords=hydraulic+grooming+table and this table: http://www.amazon.com/Master-Equipment-BoneShaped-Folding-Grooming/dp/B006Z0USK6/ref=sr_1_19?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1351271553&sr=1-19&keywords=grooming+table And I'm just not sure what I *need* or whether I would be better off to just buy a clamp with an arm and a regular folding table (that's strong enough to hold my big boy Sheepie, of course). Help? |

I have a purple one but the come in black and pink as well. I love it and both dogs do very well on in. It works great as a traveling table as well our main table at home. Vance |
OK, so I missed the part about you being, um... vertically challenged... Maybe you should look at this table too... http://www.petedge.com/product/Grooming/Grooming-Equipment/Grooming-Tables/Master-Equipment-Adjustable-Height-Grooming-Tables/pc/190/c/191/sc/192/46234.uts Vance |

If you have a boy, you are going to need something bigger than 36". You want to go 42 at least & if you are going to be taking it anywhere. If not taking it anywhere, I'd invest in a 48" table. If you are looking at height adjustment, you can get ones with adjustable legs. Or if you want to go a step up I'd go electric over hydraulic. Only thing is they generally don't come in that large of a table unless you are looking at professional ones which are pretty pricey. I have a 36" (good for a smaller bitch), a 44" with adjustable legs that I take to the dog shows, a 48" (my original table) & a 44" electric which I gifted myself with last year. I had my husband put the 48" table top on to the electric table & the 4 extra inches makes José feel much more comfortable & secure when lying down for grooming. He's a big boy. |

Vance It also comes in blue! I have the blue one now. But this table is VERY TALL (which I actually like) and I'm about 5'1". I like the taller table since I don't have to bend at all. I don't have trouble reaching the top of Eevee at all, either. Once she gets bigger I might. |
Thanks for all the replies! We ordered a regular table off Amazon (no hydraulics or electrics... we ordered that Aosom brand hydraulic table previously and HATED it - it wasn't stable enough for me to put my PURSE on - much less my dog!). It's sturdy and tall with rubber on the top. I will have to post some post grooming pictures. Thanks again! |
