I believe this is what you are looking for. I have a similar one I bought for Teddy for dog shows. The teeth are pretty far apart. I use it to get him ready for the ring but if you are looking more for everyday type grooming to help stay mat free you may like the Resco #80 comb. That is what I use after brushing. My Resco #80 is 30 years old and is in fine shape, but I just bought the ergonomic one below. It should be delivered tomorrow and much easier to hold on to. We used the first one on Cindy list & they are great getting out matts & they fit in you hand well even after few hours of grooming. With the long and wide teeth they aregreat getting out matss as well |
Thanks for the help. Her comb was a really extra large look comb. I like the look of the first one as well for comfort. I get blisters from my comb I have right now on my index finger. It is callused now. |
We use the Resco comb and got it at PetEdge for $15.95. Vance |
I have the 2nd one (the rescoe with the aluminum fitted handle.) I wasn't sure how I would like it at 1st.... but now after 6 yrs of hard use, I just bought my 2nd one of them! I've never heard of any comb called a poodle comb though. |
