Fernie is getting a baby brother
We have decided to call him Gair. Let me explain why. My hubby and I got married in a place called Ferniegair and 4 years later we bought Fernie as an anniversary present to ourselves. So it only seemed right to complete the place name by calling our new boy, Gair. I've uploaded some pics, so when they are approved, I post them here for you all to see. Gairs mum, Meg is a half sister to Fernie, so I have high hopes of a good natured, handsome lad in the future. The next three weeks will be hell. I am saying Gair's name like short form of Garry. Is it like that or more like sounds like Bar...Gar. I'm just curious as to the way it should be pronounced. Again congratulations, time for a puppy baby shower...or shopping spree excuse. |
| Thank you everyone for the warm welcome for wee Gair. Just over two weeks to go now until we get to bring him home. Geez, the time is dragging by. His breeder has been emailing me, so I am being kept up to speed on the pups progress.
Latest mail tells me that they have been wormed, and had their second vet check and everyone is doing great. They are well on the way to being weaned and are now sleeping without Meg at night. Their characters are showing too and wouldn't you believe it, it's one of the girls that is the boss. LOL I've been out spending as well. We have new small bowls, will need to get bigger ones later on, a wee collar and leash to start his leash training, an ID disc, puppy pads and puppy food. Just need to get the pup now. LOL For those of you wondering how to say his name. It's pronounced the same a FAIR but with a G. Thanks again for all your replies, I appreciate them all. Take care, Clipper & Fernie |
