The chippy is DH and Tiggy has been out with him for the past few days making sure his work is up to standard. She's a crack up she follows him everywhere, up and down the side walk way to get tools and over to the work bench then back to the fence. And if he's working down low she stands in close and watches intently. I think she's decided some tradies can be a bit slack so she'd better keep a close eye on the work for quality purposes. I've banned her today though. I started grooming her and found clumps of wood glue in her coat on the back of her neck and shoulders. Obviously she got too keen with her supervising. I had to cut some bits out. Luckily they were small so there's only a few small sticky up bits to cause matts. She can supervise from a distance through the back glass doors. |

Sounds like she takes her job seriously! A girl can get dirty when working so hard! |
Ha ha, I would enjoy her company as she observed me work, maybe get her to carry some of the tools and wood |
Throw a work jacket on that girl and let her out to supervise that fence building. How is DH going to get the job done right without Miss Tiggy supervising? Violet likes to supervise whoever is doing the vacuumning in the house by laying on the cord. |
So this is why I have so many supervisors every time I do every little thing? (vacuum, laundry, cooking, you name it) Takes me twice as long as it should. Too many chiefs and not enough indians. Typical! Now, when Tiggy and my crew figure out how to use a hammer or a vacuum cleaner, THEN I'll be impressed Kristine |
Butchy was supervising us when we added top soil to part of our yard. Managed to stand in the way at all times and ended up having several shovels full of dirt land on top of him. He looked confused but didn't think he should move. Being in charge is hard work, he had just gotten groomed so that took care of the snowy white look. |
I doubt the fence will be built to the correct standards now that you have taken Tiggy off the job. Good luck, it's hard to find a really good supervisor. |
They are such hands on helpers.... lol |
awww...tiggy is a natural!! i can see her performing her duties with relish! It seems that sheepies go thru the same middle management training... i was wiping the kitchen floor down, lola comes over to inspect, decides that i wasnt up to par and steals the rag from me, quite forcefully, if you ask me....i was quite offended, but she as the manager, just snuffled and walked away with the rag in her mouth....i tell ya, we, free volunteer workers , get no respect... |

I feel your pain. Literally kristine |

Definitely the same middle management training. Tiggy assisted me with sweeping the kitchen floor recently. I swept the crumbs and dog hair into a pile ready to pick it all up. Tiggy followed me all over and then having determined it was an inferior attempt used her face hair to spread the pile all about so I could try again and do better. Strong words were used on my part, Tiggy? she went and took a nap. |
Tiggy probably doesn't know what to do with herself now that she has been put into a new position ...far away. I can just see her saying "but mom... my job is over there. how many hints can I give to tell you what side of the house I want to be on..." hahaha |
So I'm reading this correctly, Tiggy got in trouble for doing a really thorough job??? Poor Tiggy! |
Now you've gone and done it, turning Miss Tigs into a tradies apprentice, next thing you know she will be demanding a New Beaut UTE to transport her everywhere. I know what to get her for chrissy, a tradesman belt with a little hammer and srewdriver hanging off it. And safety "Doggles" |

You know dust coat, overalls, something like that. lisaoes wrote:  Now you've gone and done it, turning Miss Tigs into a tradies apprentice, next thing you know she will be demanding a New Beaut UTE to transport her everywhere.
