With all the summer cuts, anyone staying away from scissors?

...and where are you located?

My husband just couldn't live with me cutting it ...and he's Yuki's left paw ...sorta speak. He freaks when I trim up her legs, which I do because of burrs and her hair gets all funky from the clear bones we give her.

I'm in Oklahoma, but will travel to TX most of the summer. I just think cutting her could be a bad deal since we found out....

we may be going to ALASKA in September for 2-3 yrs!!! Brrr...

I think her coat is changing now because she's getting matts, but it hasn't been anything terrifying, so I don't know if this is what everyone is referring to.

I'm not planning on cutting Jasper's either. The matts do get worse though - lol Jasper's coat is changing now too. I think I'm going to shave his lower belly & that'll be it. I'm doing that because he matts up with tiny, tiny matts a lot in that area - guess because it's wet from him taking care of business. lol
Gee Jo, if you guys were going someplace cold, couldn't you have managed to get him posted to Minnesota?! Good luck with the "trimming", I think as long as she can stay cool, she should be just fine!
