Split them up. It's not fair to her to have to deal with a puppy, and it's unreasonable to expect a 10 week old puppy not to be mouthy and test his boundaries. Then find him another (stable and fit) adult dog who WILL reprimand him to teach him the facts of life (a friend's dog he can spend some serious time with?), because right now he really isn't learning what he needs to learn. I give her a lot of credit for respecting the puppy license and not ripping his face off. But I doubt he's like an annoying younger sibling - more like a domestic terrorist. She was there first, she deserves that consideration. Perhaps once he's been civilized she'll consider him good company. Maybe Kristine |
Quote: more like a domestic terrorist well said It is cruel to the blind dog to have this terrorist about. Puppy needs to learn his dog manners but unfair to have the blind dog be in charge. I bow to Kristine's advice |
Thank you for the advice. I will find him an older dog to spend some time with. Karen |
