Chewie and Bond had a wonderful National Specialty!
I don't have many pics, as we were so busy...so I'm linking the show photographer proofs. I have some ordered, but don't have them yet. I hope the links work. Chewie - *With Bre won Best Jr Handler. (I did cut Chewie's coat down Monday, but she worked so well with Bond at Ron's seminar, that she is OK with using him from now on when she enters). http://degruy.zenfolio.com/p137303303/h ... #h441ca58a and ready to go in the ring:  *Agility - in EXC A Standard he finished his title, got 1st place and earned High In Trial in agility. He did that in NY too from the Novice class - so he is 2 for 2. - NO PICS!  So I need to take one here at home with his awards and ribbons.Found an action shot - it was cold, windy and many layers for us humans (great for the dogs!):  * Rally - won 1st in Excellent (95 of 100), 2nd in Advanced (95), and won the High Combined for RAE. This is a new award that is eligible to be awarded from AKC this year. It was also his 16th consecutive Q in RAE as well (have to enter both Exc and Adv and Q in both). http://degruy.zenfolio.com/p202628271/h ... #h441cac76 *Herding - passed in JHD herding - he was the only Q on the wild sheep in JHD. Need to call and get my entry fee refunded...grrr Our crating area - Bond, Chewie and cousin MoJo's awards on their crates   And after a super busy week, on Saturday morning we were all packed and ready to drive home!  Chewie (L), Martha and Bond (on the seat), Bre peeking out too  We had a wonderful time - a big part for me is getting to visit and chat. (imagine that ) It was great meeting new faces and chatting with so many wonderful OES lovers all in one place! |
