I am here! Just sooooooo freaking BUSY I haven't had time to do more than glance at the forum every once in a while...when we've had electricity that is...  My summer season was crazy-busy...then fall came in with some utterly INSANE weather: huge wind storms, flooding, repeated power outages, downed trees, etc. We had to take down our State Fair booth (a 20x24 weatherport tent) in 70MPH wind! Ive been reduced to doing artwork (special orders taken during summer that HAD to be done) by Aladdin lantern light! Our yard is a chaotic mess of downed trees, branches and plant debris, and we are running around like crazy people trying to clean it all up before snow flies...and if everyone's predictions are correct, that could be ANY day now  We leave for Fairbanks for an art show on Thursday, and we are very worried because there has been such severe flooding that chunks of the Parks Highway are washed out...as of today the road is open, but several areas are down to one lane, with the river threatening to swamp the whole thing. A few small towns along the highway have even had to be evacuated. I promise to put up a nice happy picture-filled post once we (IF we  ) survive this trip!  |

I always enjoy hearing about your adventures! SNOW? ALREADY? Isn't this early, even for your area???? Post more when you can-- I understand crazy busy. Seems to be the rule, and not the exception anymore. I miss the "old gang".  |

| That is just crazy weather. My family has been remiss in updates...but probably just as busy trying to get things cleaned up as you and Scott. Good luck with this venture! We had our 1st freeze here last week, so I fear we are not far behind either. |
